I started reading Live, Love, Spy on 18th May 2025.  It’s the second book in the New Recruit series and follows Louisa (Lou) Ward, a CIA Operative, and her childhood friend, TJ Taggart, a soldier. 

I have reached chapter two, where TJ Taggart has managed to get himself kidnapped, and Lou is gathering her team to rescue him.   The question is what happens when she rescues him.   

Will life be smooth sailing from now on? 

Will TJ finally tell Lou she is the one for him? 

Does Lou hold a grudge because he scared off the boy who was to take her to prom all those years ago?
