Lost in the Fog is the 31st book in Viola’s Betas in Waiting series.

This novella stars two omegas, Pandora and Gia and their fight to rebuild their lives after abandonment.

The story starts with Pandora being choked and fighting to prevent her captor from dropping her into a chasm.   Why are her destined mates not saving her?  Taking her assailant with her, they drop, shattering from the sudden impact.  The assailant is dead.  In Pandora’s case, she is still alive, but no longer in the physical world, existing only as fog.  The remainder of her story is how she escapes the stronghold and eventually manages to pull herself back together after being blown about at the fickle whims of the winds.

Running alongside Pandora’s story is that of Gia, who has spent years in a coma after the link with her mates was severed.  On awakening, she discovers her father has married her off to a stranger, and her mates are nowhere to be found.  The remainder of her tale follows the tragedy of what happened back then, her recovery and the new future she builds.

Lost in the Fog is a paranormal romance set in an omegaverse that follows the theme of emotional and physical rebuilding after loss.
